You will gain a foundational understanding of the legislation surrounding Diversity and Inclusion.


Thinking Broadly

Develop a broader understanding of diversity, looking at diversity strands which are protected and unprotected by law. 


Unconscious Bias

You will learn about a spectrum of unconscious biases and how these have an impact in our day to day lives.


Deep Dive Strands

We will look at specific equality strands (Race and Ethnicity, Gender and Disability) in closer detail from legal to social frameworks.

Data Driven Diversity

You will explore the impact of data and gain an understanding of what data driven diversity means for an organisation.


Active Allyship

You will be introduced to the concept of active allyship and learn how you can implement this on a daily basis.

Elizabeth Oni-Iyiola

Elizabeth has led governance reviews, conducted board culture audits and reviews as an observer and delivered both research and training on diversity and inclusion at board and leadership level. She has a degree in Accounting and Finance, MBA in Business Management and was previously at Bloomberg LLP as a Financial Analyst. In her previous roles, she has managed large scale multi-partner public sector contracts for BEIS, DWP and the SFA. Elizabeth is also an Independent Member of the Nominations Committee at Which?, supporting their recruitment and appointments.

    The Equality, Diversity and Inclusion (EDI) course is open to anyone who would like to know more about understanding how best to ensure their organisation is implementing equality, diversity and inclusion.

  • How long does it take to complete?

    This course can be completed in stages or as part of a one day training - we recommend allowing 5 hours to complete the content.
